Personal reflection of" Boori Monty Pryor visits Killester"
On Wednesday the 29th the year 10 had an incursion of a speical guest which was an Aboriginal man name "Boori Monty Pryor".We were all in the small and not knowing when this Aboriginal man gonna come in, and from that moment Boori entered the small hall and we all welcomed him.Then Boori started talking about many things, as he told them he made it very entertaining and funny with laughter as he goes along. First it was about his family like his mother and his father, and talked about where he comes from which was up in Queenland.After that he told us some stories about aboriginal spirituality and some stories about a boy up in the mountains and there was crocodiles going after him and he told us many other aboriginal spirituality interesting stories. Boori also showed us some books that he had wrote himself, and he told us that someone speical related to him had sucide, when i heard that i didnt quite undertstand but then i realised it was really sad. he wrote about that in his stories.Then when it was closer to the end he played his didegridoo for us. It was quite an overall and successful to able to listen and learn new things from Aboriginal sprituality from Boori.
JESUS AND DIALOGUE IN THE GOSPELS! The Canaanite Woman's Faith!
Thegospel is from matthew 15:21-28 The Canaanite Woman 's faith. Jesus came from Gailee and went to a place called District of Tyre and Sidon. A canaanite woman then came by shouting asking for Jesus's help of her daughter being tormented by a demon, but Jesus did not answer and told the woman to leave, but the woman kept asking and asking, but jesus was reacting this way because he was just testing her faith. Then the Disciples said she needed help but then later on told the woman to leave them, but at the end Jesus finally seen the faith and believe in the Canaanite Woman and her daughter was healed instantly.

How this Unit Been for me ?

1.what have been my fustrations? My achievements? 2. What have i learned? 3. What is my faith tradition? How was studying this way ? and this topic cultivated my own spiritual path? or deepened my understanding of my own tradition.
This unit has been overwhelming because it really needed effort to make this wikispaces for everyone to work and contribute something to make this unit work for the religon. During this unit my fustrations were not understanding of how each task meant to turn out, for eg thinking and working and figuring out how to make this world religon assement task detailed and being specifc about what we were doing and how it relates to the religon that we choose which is christianity. As we were working my whole fustration was trying to concentrate on the work that we were doing, but i find it hard because i didnt quite understand about the whole topic on what we were meant to do it really confuses me alot, there was alot of things to relate to the relgion and the understanding of the work.
My acheivements were able to complete the task even though it really has to push the whole contribution to it and im glad that i'm able to comeplete and created my own idea of the world religion task. I have learnt what different world religon people believe in, what they do, how they have their own good peace and goodwill towards their different religon beliefs.Also the different aspects of religons and people around the world and their speical beliefs in their God and how they respect and have their own faith towards their religion.My faith tradition is christianity which is believing in the one God in the world which is Jesus's father and that he is the one who created the world and everything around us today.and that Jesus is the one who teaches us and many other people good things and made us who we are and i truley believe in it..
well for me to study this way which was talking about it and doing some of the work on the computer using the wikispaces so that we can see and read other peoples faith and how we communicate about this relgion and learning different things as we go, but how ever learning on the computer is sometimes hard because theres not much to find, but weather as looking at other resources such as books it gives us more simplier and easier details about this world religon unit. and also able to dialogue with other people such as our group and other people. makes us think more and better understanding just talking about this unit.
This topic did make me understand more of my own faith religon, because it makes be think and a deeper understanding of how my own beliefs believe in things and how they contribute themselves to God and believing what they have to offer and give to others, its what God tells us or gives a message to for the people in the world. and that the people do does things wrong God will able to always forgive them and make them repent for what they have done. and they can start a new life and not do that same mistake ever again.and to learn from them. That also teaches the world and how we believe being a christian person or people.
